Casement writes that "the fat man of Europe" has succeeded in preventing the Hamburg-America Line from entering the Irish market. He aims to go to London to try to fight the case. He also writes that he has evidence of Balfour and others conspiring against Charles Stewart Parnell and that he recently heard similar stories from John Daly in Limerick.
