Letter from Roger Casement to Alice Stopford Green regarding a welcome party for the German steamer into Cork and his hopes to write an "awful" letter about it,
1914 Jan. 7.
Casement writes that the German Company has agreed to delay their steamer at Cobh for long enough to have a public reception including a luncheon. He then plans to write an "awful" letter to "put the final touch of German malice on the black head of Shawn Bwee!". He also mentions Francis Joseph Bigger who will be having a "flare up" with Windle over his donation of a picture of O'Sullivan Beare.
