Casement writes that he is disappointed in Green's advise regarding his friend "Mr. Parminter" who is to stay with him in Santos. The Foreign Office have taken an interest in Parminter and Green has advised Casement that he could be tainted by association. He also mentions his hopes of returning to Africa soon. He writes about the future of Africa and recommends that Green put more of her interest in the future of Ireland because it has fewer supporters.
