Letter from Roger Casement to Alice Stopford Green regarding an article that he has written for the 'United Irishman',
1905 Feb. 24.
Casement has written an article on the life of his father for the 'United Irishman' but feels that is should not be publicised in England as it could hurt the Congo Reform Association if he was seen as being an Irish nationalist. He also writes that his report on the Congo is due out soon and is expected to be positively received. He hopes that John Redmond will not lend any support to King Leopold in his persecution of the Congolese people.
