Finlay writes that O'Byrne's inclusion in the concert has aroused some political feelings and "some of the so-called supporters of civil and religious liberty are taking a strong line of objection. Also includes a note explaining that O'Byrne lost many Protestant engagements in 1913 due to being a Catholic.
