Description:Meyer relates that wherever he goes to lecture, he tries to drum up interest in Celtic Studies. Meyer relates that he has lost some English friends due to the war but has also made some new ones. Meyer also states that his nephew is missing following the Battle of Langemark and another was involved in the Siege of Przemyśl. Meyer's brother wrote a book stating that a century of continuous warfare was likely and Meyer believes that there can be no peace only armistices and that all nations will hold onto the territories they have conquered.
