(OVER) / Photo of new Hungary League President greets Mrs. MacSwiney / News Item- Mrs. Helen Timko, president of the League of the New Hungary, on the Police Boat Patrol, a member of the welcoming committee for Mrs. Muriel MacSwiney, widow of the Late Lord Mayor of Cork. Mrs. Timko offered a wreath of red flowers t [sic] the stems of which were broken, to Mrs. MacSwiney. This was offered in the ancient ceremonial Hungarian style as a token of love and respect. Mrs. Timko waves the flag which Louis Kossuth brought to this country in 1851 in remembrance of the fact that Kossuth had been permited to speak in behalf of his country's fr [sic] freedom before the American Senate and House of Repesentatives. / Caption no. must agree with photo no. 12/4/20 ".
