Murphy appeals to O'Brien as a member of the Dáil to take steps to "put a speedy end to this military terrorism and espcially to the existance of what is evidently an organised murder gang". Murphy describes the censorship of his statement from newspapers he submitted it to. Murphy describes the brutality of the raids and their intention to kill his son Fergus Murphy.
