Typescript letter from Eamonn MacAlpine to P. T. Daly and William O'Brien regarding them contesting parliamentary seats for Dublin and suggesting putting James Larkin's names before the electors for the Harbour Division and also informing them he has enclosed a copy of a resolution they passed,

1918 May 10.

MacAlpine writes of Larkin "His usefulness here is gone, he cannot move at all and owing to the situation .... has little chance of getting out of the country as he is now" and also "We, over here, are watching the splendid fight you are making and our hearts beat with yours but unfortunately I'm afraid little is to be hoped for from these people. We are 20 years behind Europe and things seem pretty bad but we work and hope". Item includes copy of resolutions passed.
