John Devoy mentions the "Brooklyn affair", and lists Redmond, Daniel Cohalan, Judge Goff, Higgins, John Gannon and others as signatories to his anti-Home Rule cablegram. He mentions that the Titanic disaster fills every front page and that the Convention will meet in Dublin (Pennsylvania?).
