First prosecution witness is Private James Murray who was taken prisoner by the Irish Volunteers in the General Post Office and witnessed John "Jack" Plunkett armed and in uniform, and the second prosecution witness being Detective Sergeant John Bruton having twice seen John "Jack" Plunkett parading in uniform with the Irish Volunteers. Third prosecution witness was Lieutenant Patrick Joseph O'Brien who identified John "Jack" Plunkett as a prisoner handed over to him after the Easter Rising, and the fourth prosecution witness was Lieutenant W.H. Ruxton who saw John "Jack" Plunkett being led away from General Post Office as a prisoner.
