Milligan remarks that she has not been in Dublin for 10 years and asks to be remembered to old friends, including Mrs. A. Stack, Mrs Gallagher from Donegal and Miss Sophie O'Connell. In a postscript, she remarks "I am presuming that you are the Lily O'B I know Mrs Kents sister (Sea shell gatherer)" [sic].
