William Chester was the solicitor for Henry Cole Bowen and the Cole Bowen family. In his correspondence with Henry Cole Bowen he relates news from Parliament, including reference to the Popery Bill and other parliamentary issues. Chester also discusses the ongoing advertisement and recruitment of servants and staff for Bowenscourt. Chester was succeeded by John Dwyer in 1778.
