Correspondence of Elizabeth Corbert Yeats, sister of W.B. Yeats and director of Cuala Press, with English-based friend and former pupil Violet "Letty" Dickinson. The letters concern Yeats family affairs, the fortunes of Cuala Press, war and peace, political affairs in Ireland and Elizabeth Yeats' hopes and prospects. Includes eight autograph letters from Yeats, mostly on Cuala Press notepaper and some of which are incomplete. Also includes four Yeats family photographs and five hand-coloured, inscribed greeting cards from Yeats to Dickinson.

Description:Letter on Cuala Industries headed paper in which Yeats criticises English imposed duties on the prints and cards of Cuala Press, claiming that "this duty has killed our trade". She also mentions that a set of autographed Dun Emer and Cuala Press books are on sale in Bumpus, 350 Oxford Street, in the hopes that Dickinson may know of interested parties to purchase them. She makes mention of Lily Yeat's health and says that she now completes her embroidery for Cuala at home. She also enquires after and comments on the Morris family (Jenny, May and William) and states "I do not like De Valera or his Government!"
