Contains poems Griffith wrote and dedicated to his fiancé Maud Sheehan during their courtship, his correspondence with his wife and son written during periods of incarceration in Reading, Gloucester and Mountjoy jails and subsequently when he was in London during the Treaty negotiations, which largely relate to family matters but also touch on the mood among the Irish delegation in Hans Place, and some fragmentary legal documentation relating to a law case in 1900 and the transfer of his estate to his wife in 1922. Also included is some of his wife Maud's personal correspondence.
