Obituary includes"... We remembered how Margaret Pearse always waited up every night when her sons were out even if their Volunteers activities kept them from returning until four in the morning. We had heard her say suddenly as she sat in a lower room in St. Enda's: 'I had a dream last night. I saw Pat standing up, waiting to be shot.' ..." and also "On Easter Sunday in the lower room in the Hermitage she had read the news of what later turned out to be Casement's arrest and said, no longer with meery eyes: "Is Ireland ever to be free?"...".
