Description:McCartan discusses the treatment of the Irish in the United States during the War of Independence as very well and that the Irish has "confunded gall under the circumstances" of the First World War. The 'Irish Independent' article is concerning James O'Mara's reasons for leaving Cumann na nGaeldhael, which he states are because taxation is too high and that "no industrial progress can be possible".
