Contains the estate and family papers of the Leslie family of Co. Monaghan, dated 1528-1992. Estate papers includes deeds, leases, rentals, legal papers, estate correspondence, documents from the Land Commission and from the Sir John Leslie Estates Company, maps and plans, financial papers, and miscellaneous documents relating to the Leslie estates of Glaslough, Pettigo and others. The Leslie family papers include correspondence, diaries and journals, writings, photographs, scrapbooks, sketchbooks, gamebooks, ephemera, legal and political papers, and miscellaneous material kept by the Leslie family.

Description:Large green sketchbook, inscribed "1848-1891 drawings by Sir John Leslie collected by his wife Constance some by Charles Powell Leslie & Sir Francis Grant P.R.A." and "Near end of book Glaslough as it might have been [sic]; house, lodge gates + monument", with an index of illustrations, (which are in the main of people and animals). Sitters include Constance Leslie, John Leslie, 2nd Baronet, Henry and Louisa Beresford [Waterford]. Also sketches of Glaslough House with envisioned renovations and some sketches by Charles Powell Leslie and Francis Grant.
