Contains the estate and family papers of the Leslie family of Co. Monaghan, dated 1528-1992. Estate papers includes deeds, leases, rentals, legal papers, estate correspondence, documents from the Land Commission and from the Sir John Leslie Estates Company, maps and plans, financial papers, and miscellaneous documents relating to the Leslie estates of Glaslough, Pettigo and others. The Leslie family papers include correspondence, diaries and journals, writings, photographs, scrapbooks, sketchbooks, gamebooks, ephemera, legal and political papers, and miscellaneous material kept by the Leslie family.

Description:The correspondence of Jennie Churchill (née Jerome), Lady Randolph Churchill, the sister of Léonie Leslie, and her son Winston Churchill plus related material, dated 1895-1970. Contains letters and copy letters of Jennie and Winston; John [Jack] Churchill, son of Jennie and brother of Winston and George Cornwallis-West, Jennie's third husband. Correspondents also include Léonie Leslie, Olive Guthrie, Moreton and Clara Frewen and Shane Leslie. Letters concern family and social matters, politics, Jennie's book and estate affairs. Also contains related notes and a letter between Shane and Clara Sheridan concerning Jennie's funeral.
