Contains the estate and family papers of the Leslie family of Co. Monaghan, dated 1528-1992. Estate papers includes deeds, leases, rentals, legal papers, estate correspondence, documents from the Land Commission and from the Sir John Leslie Estates Company, maps and plans, financial papers, and miscellaneous documents relating to the Leslie estates of Glaslough, Pettigo and others. The Leslie family papers include correspondence, diaries and journals, writings, photographs, scrapbooks, sketchbooks, gamebooks, ephemera, legal and political papers, and miscellaneous material kept by the Leslie family.

Description:Contains the correspondence of Mary Georgiana Emma Dawson-Damer (née Seymour) better known as "Minnie" ("Minney"), the wife of George Dawson-Damer and the mother of Constance Leslie. Includes letters from her husband, her son Lionel Seymour, her adoptive mother Maria Anne Fitzherbert, Lady Louisa Stuart, and William Cavendish, 6th Duke of Devonshire. Letters concern politics, family, travel and social matters. Also contains a letter from Minnie to King George IV and documents pertaining to Minnie's fortune.
