Included are manuscript and typescript drafts of the poem 'Audenesque', a translation of the poem into Polish by Stanisław Barańczak, faxes to Heaney from the BBC Russian Service and his publishers Faber and Faber concerning the Word Service's interest in broadcasting it and a copy fax from Heaney to Dan Vetch and Megan Sexton of the 'Atlanta Review'. The correspondence covers the period 15 Feb - 29 Apr 1996.
