Letters relate to her stay with Tom Clarke's prison comrade James Egan in Dublin, her witnessing an accident involving Egan's wife and the ensuing court case which delayed her travelling to New York to marry Clarke. Reference is also made to social events and excursions in Limerick, including her attendance at 'Daughter's of Erin' concerts, family matters and her learning to ride a bike.
