Bloudy nevves from Ireland, or the barbarous crueltie by the papists used in that kingdome. :
By putting men to the svvord, deflovvring women, and dragging them up and downe the streets, and cruelly murdering them, and thrusting their speeres through their little infants before their eyes, and carrying them up and downe on pike-points, in great reproach, and hanging mens quarters on their gates in the street, at Armagh, Logall, at the Fort of Lease, and divers other places in Ireland. As also, the bloudy acts of Lord Mack-queere their ri[n]g-leader, and cousin to that arch-rebell Mack-queere Generall to Tyron, in the time of Queene Elizabeth of never dying memory. Related by James Salmon lately come from thence, who hath lived there with his wife and children, these 10 yeeres last past, and now to escape the bloud-thirsty rebels, made an escape away by night, who is here resident in this city, Decemb. the 1. 1641.

Gods providence to the distressed Protestants in Ireland, or, The last proceedings in the province of Munster :
attested by two letters sent from Robert Pickering clerke unto Sir Symon Harcourt, Sergeant Major of all the horse there arrived. The one dated at Tologh, Ian. 20. the other at Youghall, Ian. 23. 1641· Wherein is truely related in what manner Youghall was taken by the rebels, Barry, O Donnell Swillian, and Sir Patrick Roach, and also in what distresse the Earle of Corke was in. And how Youghall was taken againe three dayes after from the rebels, by Rich. Viscount Dungarvall, and the Earles of Barrimore and Kildare, and others of my Lord of Corkes tenants, to the number of 7000. my Lord of Corke, happily relieved, Sir Patricke Roach slaine, with 900. with him, Barry the rebell taken, hanged and quartered, his head set upon the castle gate, and quarters in other parts of the town, by the last post the 2. of February, 1641.

being a short, but perfect, full, and true account of the scituation, nature, constitution and product of Ireland· With an impartial historical relation of the most material transactions, revolutions, and miserable sufferings of the Protestants there, from the death of King Charles the Second, to the latter end of April, 1689. A remonstrance from Ireland, to the High Court of Parliament in England :
for the speedy oppression of the rebels, with little cost and losse of the protestant party, and the probable way of moving the rebels to submit themselves, and to cut one anothers throats, and to bring the heads of the chiefest actors, thereby to get their pardon, presented by a Membet [sic] of the House of Commons in Ireland.
