Thomas Fryer, No. 20, Grand Parade, Cork, has just opened shop, and supplied himself with the following articles, viz. :
Fine, middling, and coarse linens, / Sheetings of all breadths, / Plain, striped, spotted, and cross-barred lawns of all breaths, / English and Irish furniture cottons, and cheque ditto, / An elegant assortment of gauzes, gauze aprons, ribbons, tiphanies & feathers...Pound and sheet pins / English and Irish bed ticks, / English and Irish lastings and sattinets, / Real Lundy Foot's snuff, by wholesale and retail, / Birmingham, London, and Sheffield ware, / Fashionable tea urns, / Plain and plated furniture coffee ditto, / An elegant assortment of oval tea-trays, inlaid, plain, painted, &c.&c. / Round ditto, and waiters of all sizes, / Fire irons, japanned stand and snuffers, / A large assortment of plain and fancy buttons, &c.&c. / Carpets and carpeting of all sizes. Gentlemen of the Army, captains of ships, merchants, and shopkeepers, will find their advantage in dealing with him. Commissions from the country shall be executed with the same care and fidelity as if the person who ordered was present. As he has laid in the above goods on as cheap terms as any person in this city, he is constantly assorted with goods for country dealers in the wholesale way, and will retail for the smallest profit. [Receipt issued by Alice Ford to the Governors of the Blue-Coat Hospital [School, Dublin] Alice Ford, at the Old Sign of the Horse-Shoe, No. 50 Thomas Street, between Meath-St. and Vicar-Street Dublin, manufactures the following goods of the choicest materials in the best manner, and is determined to sell them on terms pleasing and advantageous to her customers. Threads...Linen Tapes...Hair Tape, best kind [,] Broad and Narrow Stay tape... Worsted Tapes...Garters, of which is a pleasing Variety, of Breadths, Colours and Prices [,] Silk Laces, Cotton do [ditto]...Number Threads and Dutch Tapes equal to any imported, with Sewing Silks and Pins, &c...All Orders gratefully ackowledged, and executed with Integrity and Punctuality as if personally present.

[Receipt] Francis Lagraviere, on Cork-Hill, at the Royal Cap and Shuttle, leading to the Castle-Gate [Dublin] :
Takes this method to inform his friends and customers, that he continues to carry on the livery-lace weaving in all its branches; therefore humbly requests the interest and custom of his former friends, and such as are pleased to deal with him may reply on being served with the utmost care and diligence, at the lowest prices. He has always ready made by him, various sortments of livery-lace and tassels, with several other things in the livery-lace way, the better to supply such as cannot conveniently wait to get lace, &c. made. Country dealers and others who buy to sell again may depend on the greatest encouragement. Hannah Lagraviere, continues to sell as usual, and has a great variety of the following goods, viz. Ladies bonnets, Hats of all fashions and colours, Ladies hats, Ostrich feathers of all colours, Children's hats of all sorts, Cardinal cloaks, and all other cloaks, of different fashions, Children's Buck Hats, Bourlet for do. Ladies riding hats, Gentlemens hunting caps, the best ever made in this Kingdom, light and easy for the head; as we make our own velvet, can sell much cheaper than any advertiser, Leather caps, Gentlemen's morning caps, Bags, Roses, Cockades and ramelies; English and Irish sattins, Peelings, Cardinal silks of all kinds, Velvets, Modes, Black ribbons, Persians, Black lace, Back handkerchiefs, Chip hats, Gauzes, with several other things in the millinery way. - And as she has just now imported the newest and most fashionable patterns that could be got in London, for the above-mentioned articles; she humbly hopes for the continuance of the nobility, gentry, and others, who have honoured her with their commands, which she will always endeavour to merit, by selling at the lowest prices. - She makes the above articles, for those that chuse [sic, choose] to find their own silk and velvet.
