Never Acted [before] Theatre Royal, Drury Lane. This present Thursday, May 9, 1816. Their Majesties' Servants will perform, for the first time, a new tragedy, called 'Bertram; The Castle of St. Aldobrand'. :
With new scenery, dresses, and embellishments. the new musick [sic] incidental to the tragedy, composed by Mr. T. Cooke. The characters by Mr. [Edmund] Kean, Mr. Pope, Mr. Holland, Mr. Powell, Mr. R. Phillips, Mr. Barnard, Mr. Miller, Mr. Ebsworth, Miss Carr, Mr. Coveney, Mr. Carr, Mr. Kent, Mr. Cooke, Miss Boyce, Miss Cooke, Miss G. Carr, and a young lady (being her first appearance on any stage) [Annotated in manuscript hand in pencil on playbill beside this is 'Miss Somerville']. The vocal parts by Mr. Pyne, Mr. Smith, Mr. J. Smith, Master Harris...The prologue to be spoken by Mr. Rae. the epilogue by Miss Kelly. The scenery by Mr. Greenwood & assistants - The dresses by Mr. Banks and Miss Smith. To which will be added, the musical farce of 'The Review; Or, the Wags of Windsor'...Boxes and places to be taken of Mr. Spring, Rotunda, Brydges Street, from ten till four, and of whom may be had a private box (nightly). Vivant Rex et Regina! No money to be returned...Miss Nash will repeat the part of Lady Racket and perform in the new occasional musical romance called 'The Count of Anjou', tomorrow evening. Tomorrow, Murphy's Comedy, in 2 Acts, called 'Three Weeks after Marriage' with (5th time) 'The Count of Anjou'. On Saturday, the farce of 'Modern Antiques'. On Monday, (5th time this season) 'The Woodman's Hut'. A new melo-dramatick afterpiece will be produced next week, under the title of 'Oberon's Oath: Or The Paladin and the Princess' with new musick, scenes, dresses, &c. The musick [sic] composed by Mr. Parry.

Theatre Royal, Drury Lane. Mr. [Edmund] Kean's last benefit. On Monday next, June 12th, 1820, will be revived Otway's Tragedy of Venice Preserved..:
To conclude with (for the first time) an entirely new farce, written expressly for this occasion, entitled 'The Admirable Crichton'. Crichton, Mr. Kean in which character he will give imitations of some of the most celebrated performers; and will also attempt various accomplishments in which "the admirable Crichton’ is represented to have excelled including singing, dancing & fencing...In Act I a grand masquerade in which Crichton will personate Harlequin an Mr. O'Shaugnessy will make his first and only appearance in public, in a display (with Mr. Kean) in the Assault Des Armes [weapons assault/display]. An occasional prologue will be spoken by Mr. Russell. Tickets and places for the boxes to be had of Mr. Kean, 12, Clarges Street, Piccadilly, from twelve till three o'clock and of Mr. Rodwell, at the Rotunda, Brydges Street, from ten till four. Boxes 7s. Pit 3s.6d. Low Gallery 2s. Upp[er] Gallery 1s. Doors open at half-past six o'clock, and the performance commence at seven.

Charles, Mr. Sedgwick, Hugo, Mr. Moody, De Courcy Mr. Whitfield, Martin Mr. Williames, Lady Elinor by Mrs. Crouch, Adela by Signora Storace, Cicely by Mrs. Bland, Maud by Mrs. Booth. To which will be added (not acted this season) a farce called 'The Humourist; Or, Who's Who?' Sir Anthony Halfwit by Mr. Suett, Beaumont by Mr. Williames, Frolic by Mr. Hollingsworth, Dabble by Mr. Bannister, Jun.[ior], Mrs. Matadore by Mrs. Hopkins, Diana by Miss. Heard, Mrs. Meddle by Mrs. Williames. No money to be returned. The doors to be opened at a quarter past five, to begin at a quarter past six. To-morrow, (for the 34d. time) a new opera, called 'The Siege of Belgrade' with the pantomime ballet of 'Don Juan'; and on Monday, the 12th. and last time but one this season, 'The School for Scandal' and 'The Romp'.

Gripe by Mr. Moody, Money-Trap by Mr. Palmer, Brass by Mr. King, Clip by Mr. Benson, Jessamin by Mr. Burton, Clarissa by Miss Farren, Araminta by Mrs. Ward, Corinna by Mrs. Jordon, Flippanta by Miss Pope, Mrs. Amlet by Mrs. Hopkins, Mrs. Clegget by Mrs. Booth. to which will be added, (22d time) a pantomime called 'The Fairy Favour; Or, Harlequin Animated'. The new scenes designed and executed by Mr. greenwood. Harlequin by Mr. Banks, Pantaloon by Mr. Harris, Squire Sapscull by Mr. Hollingsworth, Clown by Mr. Dubois, Scaramouch by Mr. Fairbrother, Punch by Mr. Hamoir, Mezetin by Mr.. Bidotti, Pero by Mr. Kirk, Chairmen by Messrs. Phillimore, Haymes, Colombine by Miss Blanchet, Queen Mab by Miss De Camp, to conclude with a dance of fairies and pantomimic characters, by Mr. Hamoir, the Young D'Egvilles, Miss Blanchet, Miss De Camp. The pantomime being partly compiled, half price will be taken. Books of the pantomime to be had at the Theatre. No money to be returned. To-morrow, 36th night, 'The Siege of Belgrade', with last time this season, 'Bon Ton; or, High Life above Stairs'. On Thursday, last time this season, 'As You Like It' and 'The Critic; or a Tragedy Rehearsed'.
