Notes:Prince William Augustus Edward of Saxe-Weimar-Eisenach, (1823-1902) was appointed Commander-in-Chief [Commander of the Forces in Ireland]and a member of the Irish Privy Council in October 1885 before retiring in October 1890; he was replaced by Adjutant-General to the Forces, Field Marshal Garnet Joseph Wolseley, 1st Viscount Wolseley, (1833-1813).
