Notes:Sir John James Ennis, (1842-1884), was an Irish Liberal politican who was elected as an M.P. for Athlone in 1868; he sat in the House of Commons between until 1874, when he lost his seat (by five votes to Edward Sheil) but was re-elected in 1880. He died of apoplexy in London in 1884.
