Sir Henry ['Harry'] James Goodricke, (1797-1833), of Ribston Hall, Yorkshire, was born in Dublin; he died in August 1833 at Ravensdale Park, Co. Louth, Ireland. See pp. 368-9 of the October 1833 issue of 'The Gentleman's Magazine and Historical Chronicle', Volume CIII , Part II; Volume 154 for his obituary. He was the son of Sir Henry and Lady Charlotte [neé Fortescue] Goodricke; Sir Henry Goodricke died in 1802 and Sir Harry inherited his estate, becoming the seventh Baronet Goodricke at the age of five.
