| Summary: | Lucy Sanderson [sometimes Saunderson], born 18 October 1800 and died 11 November 1864 was originally from Cloverhill, Co. Cavan; she married Samuel Winter (1796-1867) of Agher, Co. Meath on 18 November 1826. Members of their extended family - John Pratt Winter (1768-1846) of Agher, his wife Anne and their family along with other relations, the Bomfords resided in Paris between 1817 and 1824. John Pratt Winter [the younger], born 31 October 1800, accompanied his aunt Anna Maria Winter to Rome in 1819 where he studied drawing and painting for five years; he returned to Paris, where the family was, to study art and stayed on there until he returned to Ireland in November 1832.
