Summary:Lithographed Christmas card featuring an image of a number of cottages, with stacks of turf outside, on a road that leads to the sea with mountains in the background. This image is surrounded on each side by coloured interlaced zoomorphic creatures with beaks. Printed below this is "Grásta Dé chugat", which roughly translated from Irish reads: "God's grace to you". Printed inside card in Cló Gaelach is a short Christmas poem in Irish by Brian Ó hUigínn with a coloured interlaced zoomorphic creature printed at left of the poem. Printed on back of card: "C.1823. Deantús Poblachta Éireann B.Ó H. Éilí Teo. Áth Cliath". Brian Ó hUigínn[also known as Brian na Banban] was a poet and Gaelic revivalist; a founding member of Sinn Féin, he served as President of Sinn Féin from 1931 to 1933.
