Summary:Football Association of Ireland ticket of admission to the European Championship Qualifying Game, Republic of Ireland versus Wales, held in Croke Park, Dublin on Saturday 24 March 2007. As Lansdowne Road was under re-development (it was demolished in 2007 to make way for the construction of the Aviva Stadium, which opened in 2010) the GAA [under then GAA president Seán Kelly] made Croke Park available to the FAI for international matches, relaxing Rule 42 [which prohibited foreign games being played at GAA grounds]. Ireland won the match courtesy of a 39th minute goal by Stephen Ireland. Stephen Staunton was the Republic of Ireland manager. Verso of ticket features a small coloured map of the area around Croke Park and details various health and safety regulations.
