Diarmid Coffey was nominated by the Irish cabinet to attend the Congress along with several others including Eoin O’Neill, Michael Hayes, Douglas Hyde, Eamon De Valera, Countess Markievicz, Harry Boland, and Art O’Brien. investigation called The Cooperative Movement in Jugoslavia, Rumania and North Italy (the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, 1922).
