That splendid and powerful thorough-bred sire "Colonist", the property of F. Hamilton, Esq., Castle Waller, Co. Tipperary, will stand this season in the town of Tipperary, from the 12th of April, 1865, to the 20th of July.
Torough-bred mares, 5 guineas; all others £2 12 s., 6d., groom's fees included...Colonist is a fine bay, splendid legs, grand knees and hocks, stands 16 hands high, 9 years off, great substance and muscular power, and particularly fire temper. This Sire will be strictly limited. Good grass at 10d. per night...All money to be paid at First Service, as the Groom is accountable.
