'The Marriage of Albert Edward, Prince of Wales, 10 March 1863', [oil on canvas, painted according to the Royal Collection Trust website before 2 May 1864 by Housman, who was commissioned to do so] was acquired by Queen Victoria in 1869 from from the estate of Day and Son, who produced and sold colour chromolithograph copies of the image. |
