This illustration featured on page 43 of Chapter XI. - ''Ruadhán agus Diarmuid' in 'Stair-cheachta : leabhar a dó' by Eoghan Ó Neachtain, published by Chonnradh na Gaeilge, Dublin 1907 with the caption "Ruadhán agus Bréanainn i lathair Dhiarmuda" printed underneath (which roughly translated from Irish is "Ruadhán and Bréanainn in the presence of Diarmuid"). This illustration refers to the legend commonly known as the "Curse of Tara" where St. Bréanainn of Biorra and St. Ruadhán of Lorrha [also known as 'Lothra'] visited Diarmaid Mac Cerbhaill, High King of Ireland in Tara and prophesied that Tara's halls would be deserted.
