A farmer is depicted standing in the right background, holding a sheep's crook [staff] observing a jackdaw perched on the back of a sheep while in the left background a group of sheep is depicted grazing on the grass in front of a tree. [The artist George Fagan also often signed his name "Ua Fágáin" and 'S. Uí Fhágáin'].
