This print depicts a soldier of the cavalry regiment the Tenth Royal Hussars, just seen within the folding hood, driving a light trap; behind on the rear platform is a liveried groom. [Capriole is a term used in dressage to describe a vertical jump of a trained horse with a kick of the hind legs at the top of the jump while a cabriolet is a light horse-drawn vehicle, as seen in this print with two wheels and a single horse].
