Printed underneath image on sheet: "Richard Allen's Clothing Establishments, Dublin and Cork. These Extensive Concerns are largely adapted for supplying the wants of a Metropolis or Populous City, viz: - By keeping a Large Stock of First-rate Woolen Goods of the varied descriptions required in an Extensive Trade, and always having such a complete and first-rate staff of Cutters and Workmen, that the peculiar requirements of those who need to be supplied can be executed with correctness, judgement, and despatch. Each Establishment has two leading Branches. The Order Department will be found characterised by First-rate Materials adapted for each Season, Excellence of Fit, and attention to punctuality. The Ready-Made Department - The facility afforded by this Section of the Business is becoming increasingly appreciated by a large portion of the Customers, and continued care is bestowed on it, rendering it increasingly efficient and advantageous to Purchasers. The best materials are selected, the Newest Styles are introduced, and the same care exercised in the execution as if specially ordered, so that Purchasers derive a double advantage - that of being fitted without delay with Good Clothing, and effecting a considerable saving in point of Cost. Richard Allen, 28, Lower Sackville-Street, 52 High-Street, Dublin; and 69, Patrick Street, Cork". Along with a calendar for 1864, the sheet also features detailed information listed under the following headings - "Irish Members of Parliament"; "Deliveries of Letters in Dublin"; "Despatch and Arrival of Mails at Dublin"; "Fares of Hackney Carriages in Dublin"; a poem entitled "Song In The Day Of The East Wind" by Paul Gerhardt and quotations from the psalms (printed in columns at either side of the sheet) under the heading 'Sunbeams for Human Hearts".
