Sheet printed by the Drogheda Independent [print run numbered 8266 at foot of sheet]. Thsi Fianna Fáil Cumann was named after Richard Coleman (1890-1918), who was arrested in Swords on 17 May, 1918 following a reputed link to the ‘German Plot’ conspiracy. He was sent to Usk Jail, Monmouthshire in Wales, where he caught pneumonia and died on 9 December, 1918. |
