| Notes: | The letter is presumed to be from Maria Pollen. The writer has given the day and month, but not the year of writing. This has been added in pencil by another hand as 1920, so either the identification of the writer or the year is incorrect. Maria Pollen was the widow of John Hungerford Pollen (1820-1902), the architect, artist, and author. He designed the University Church in St. Stephen's Green, Dublin.
