Theatre Royal [Liverpool] Madame Celeste and Mr. B. Webster will commence an engagement of twelve nights: at the theatre on Monday next August the 27th, during which period will be presented a series off the most successful dramas that have been produced under their direction in London, including the new play of Janet Pride!... :

On Monday evening, Aug. 27th, 1855. the performance will commence with Mr. Buckstone's powerful drama, in three acts, called 'The Green Bushes of, A Hundred years Ago'. The overture and music between the acts, by Mr. Edward Fitzwilliam [,] the melo-dramatic music, by Mr. Alfred Mellon. Act 1. Scene, Ireland on the Galway coast. Time, 1745...An Irish Fair and Row [set in an] Antique Room - Large barn adjoining O'Kennedy's House. The "Jug O'Punch" and the "Dance on the Flure"!. Moonlight view on the Atlantic - Departure of O'Kennedy for America. Act 2. Scene, America, in the Valley of the Mississippi. Time 1747....Log cabin on the banks of the Mississippi. Pinewood, and distant view of a raft - American forest - The Deadly Rifle. The banks of the Mississippi, by sunset. Departure of the raft down the river. Act 3. Scene, Ireland, the Hill of Howth & Dublin City. Time, 1748...A smith's forge near the Hill of Howth. Hall in an old town house. Street in Dublin, by night. Apartment in the house of Mad.[ame] St. Aubert. The Atonement. To conclude with a comedy, in two acts, called "Flying Colours! or, Crossing the Frontier"...To-morrow, Tuesday, the new drama of 'Helping Hands'...and 'The Mysterious Stranger!'.
