Description: Kane discusses a paper he is writing for the R.I.A. on the Black Pig's Dyke and his research on the frontier of the ancient kingdom of Uladh, and places associated with The Táin. He asks Mrs. Hutton is she can look over and correct the manuscript, inviting her and her daughter to visit him at his home. [There are several other letters from Kane on the same subject and from around the same dates in folder MS 8,611/20 of this collection].
