In Collection: Mary Hutton Papers, 1884-1942.
Description: Kane thanks Mrs. Hutton for her letter and valuable research on the points of his article that needed verification. He discusses the ancient rampart under examination, saying it cannot be part of the Black Pig's Dyke, and lists the places through which he traced the boundary of The Pale. He then turns to the comparative dates of the manuscripts he is discussing and ponders the possible route taken by Cuchulain as described in the ancient legends.
