Summary:Poster printed in black font on a light pink and fuschia coloured striped paper detailing the programme for the Funge Art Centre Gorey Arts Festival from Friday 30 July to Monday 9 August 1976. Performers included a "hilarious one man show" by actor John Molloy, (1929-1999), Lambert Puppets, the band Horslips, a "one-woman show" by actress May Cluskey (1927-1991), musician Seamus Ennis, Éamon Kelly in 'Bless me Father' and Niall Toibin with festival mass with the Dublin Festival Choir on Sunday 1 August 1976 and a night of ceili and old time dancing on Saturday 7 August 1976. Printed at bottom of sheet: "The Funge Art Centre gratefully acknowledges the assistance of An Comhairle Ealíonn [The Arts Council]. The artist Paul Funge (1944-2011) was the founder of the Gorey Arts Festival which he ran from 1970 for over 15 years; he was also a founder of Project Arts Centre [Dublin] and the Belltable Arts Centre [Limerick], the latter established while he was the regional arts officer for the midwest.
