Illustrated poster featuring the reproduction of the original artwork (signed and dated 1946 by Michael MacLiammóir) that was used by him on the cover of his theatrical autobiography 'All for Hecuba', published in 1947. Hecuba was a queen in Greek mythology, the wife of King Priam of Troy during the Trojan War; she is mentioned in Hamlet (Act II, Scene 2) by Shakespeare.
