Poster featuring an illustration of a section from 'Guernica' by Pablo Picasso, copyright DACS 1984. The play is set in a west Belfast police station in the 1970s and recounts the story of two suspects held in police custody for 72 hours - Ambrose Fogarty, a political activist falsely accused of armed robbery and Willie Lagan, a pub-musician. Both men are physically assaulted by members of the RUC who appear intent on using any means necessary to get a confession.
