| Summary: | Illustrated poster advertising performances by the Ballet Ireland dancers in the Civic Theatre Tallaght for a production entiteld 'Diaghilev and the Red Shoes' which ran from 7 - 10 December 2005 [no location or year printed on poster, however written in manuscript hand in blue ball point pen on verso of sheet is "Civic Theatre Tallaght / Dec '05"]. The poster features at centre of sheet a ballerina wearing a white tutu and three smaller images of female ballet dancers - the ballerina at extreme left of sheet is performing in an extract from 'The Red Shoes'. Printed in yellow font on sheet are the listed works to be performed [originally created by the Ballet Russe]: "L'Après-Midi d'un Faune', 'Le Sacre Du Printemps', 'Le Spectre de la Rose' and 'Les Sylphides'. The logo of sponsors - RTÉ Lyric fm, The Irish Times, Bank of Ireland, RTÉ, Culture Ireland, CCAT - Aberystwth Arts Centre and Temple Bar and the Arts Council are printed at the bottom of the sheet. |
