Summary:Playbill featuring logo at top left of sheet of Longford Productions [an illustration of an Elizabethan playhouse, similar to the thrust stage of the Swan Theatre, Southwark with three players on it, the building surmounted with the initials "LP"] printed by Corrigan & Wilson, Ltd., Printers, 13 Sackville Place, Dublin in bright blue ink on cream coloured card. Text continues: "Matinee Saturday at 2.30 (No performances on Sunday or Monday) [.] Prices - 3s 6 d., 2s and 1s. Next production: Twelfth Night by William Shakespeare". The Longfords [Christine Pakenham (neé Trew), Countess of Longford and her husband Edward Pakenham, the elder son of the Earl of Longford], worked with Edwards-Mac Liammoir at the Gate Theatre from 1931-1936; following a disagreement, they founded Longford Productions which produced 151 plays at the Gate Theatre during their 24 years of existence.
