Also comprises correspondents from the Irish embassy and legation in Spain, as well as letters of protection and recommendation from the Irish Department of Foreign Affairs, issued in advance of McCabe's US trip in the early 1930s. Includes correspondence of the Marquis de Hoyos, who was Minister of the Interior under King Alfonso XIII, and two prominent Falangists, Gonzalo de Aguilera Munro, 11th Conde de Alba de Yeltes, and Pablo Merry del Val y Alzola.
