Drawing of the Custom House, Dublin [with men working at the docks in the foreground], squared for transfer. Title inscribed in light pencil at bottom centre of sheet. Initialled and dated in iron gall ink by the artist Holt Waring at lower right of sheet: "H.W. June 18 / 1811" with barely perceptible annotations written in pencil at top right of sheet. With an accompanying label on which the registered number for this drawing is KG 74.1231.

Attributed to Holt Waring, Church of Ireland Dean of Waringstown, Co. Down and Rector of Lurgan (1798-1850); a "Rev. Holt Waring, Esq." is recorded on p. 106 of 'The Art-Union' for June 1841 as serving on "a committee of selection from the exhibtion of the Royal Hibernian Academy".
